3. The advantages of using solar pump inverters

Half of the energy produced around the world is used to operate pumps. Compared to diesel generator pumps, our solar pump inverters are environmentally friendly, with a long lifetime and low maintenance costs. It is independent from the grid and produces on pollution or noise. Typical applications are irrigation, community water supply, fish farming and agriculture. All of our drives have many solar specific and pump control functions, such as built in maximum power point tracking and dry run detection, as well as sensorless flow calculation.

The maximum power point tracing (MPPT) ensures you to get the best output power possible from your solar panel and it maximizes the performance of your pump along the day while the automatic start and stop with radiation can save money and fuel during daylight hours.

 

4. why should we choose a higher level power solar pump inverter than motor pump?
1. If solar pump inverter works in high temperature above 40C, it will be derated.
2. If motor pump is far away from inverter more than 100m, there will be power loss and drop voltage on cables and output power will be less and more harmonic, reactor is needed to reduce harmonics and better protection on motor.
3. Oversized power can be more adjustable for pump as it can keep stocks for better marketing which depend on real application for example 15hp solar pump inverter can use for 10hp also 15hp if distance is less and temperature is not high.
4. Some deep well pump is heavy duty and more heights and pump and motor are not matched and motor is easily overloaded  so inverter should choose oversized power.
5. Oversized power has better heat ventilation and higher IGBT capabilities.
