MPPT introduction
MPPT means Maximum Power Point Tracking; it’s a special function for solar system, which is used to get the
maximum possible power from one or more photovoltaic devices, typically solar panels. Solar panels have a
complex relationship between solar irradiation, temperature and total resistance that produces a nonlinear output
efficiency which can be analyzed based on the I-V curve. It is the purpose of the MPPT system to sample the output
of the cells and apply the proper resistance (load) to obtain maximum power for any given environmental conditions.
By adopting this technology in the solar pump inverter, it increases the working efficiency of solar panels,
and also adjusts the output frequency of solar pump VFD based on the sunshine strength; make sure the system
always works at an optimum condition.
R&D test: test the hardware and software performance, to make the design more optimization, makes sure the products have excellent
performance before production;
Board test: test the performance of every board in our products, to reduce product defective rate;
IQC: take strict quality inspection for every income components, to ensure every income components are qualified.
Aging test: make the solar pump VFDs at run status, put them in the aging test house at 50°C for 48 hours, to remove every unqualified products.
Load test: the last and the most important test, add different load to the solar pump VFDs, test their input and output value, to check their
working performance. unqualified products will be removed from the team.
By applying such strict testing process, VEIKONG ensures every outgoing solar pump VFD has excellent quality.
